Holy Spirit Anglican Church, 27123 River Road, Whonnock

(the brown church on your left as you go uphill from the post office)

Monday, November 11 at Sunset (4:34 p.m.)

Come from 4 pm for coffee/tea in the church hall.

Neighbours in Ruskin-Thornhill-Whonnock — Please come and take your turn ringing the bell 101 times to make a fervent plea for peace. If you can’t come, listen at home. Children are especially welcome.

Last year, 89 neighbours came, and each rang the bell to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. This year, we focus on the aftermath of war with a plea for peace.

This is a fitting follow-up to ‘One Book Whonnock’ three years ago, Paris 1919 by Margaret MacMillan, about negotiation which attempted to create peace in our world.

Please contact Jean Davidson 604-462-7341 / jeandavidson@shaw.ca if you have any questions.
